Persuasive Writing

 
Our students have recently written
letters to Mr Lendvai persuading
him to allow them to keep the Wii
in our classroom.

    Last term we were learning about persuasive text. I had so much fun writing a persuasive letter to Mr Lendvai, trying to persuade him to let us use the Wii! We had to use strong modality words like must, I will, certainly believe, you must agree to convince him that this was a good idea.I would like to convince him to let us have a class pet.

    I am glad we got to keep the wii, but it isn't working anymore so there is really no point, but, we wrote the persuasive text which is great for our learning. Thanks mr Lendvai!!!
